drivers annual uniform free day in aid of Radio Lollipop
Well
done to all staff for their support of Uniform Free
Day for Radio Lollipop again this year. We were able
to send a cheque off to Radio Lollipop for $6082 which
was very much appreciated.
Doug Berden was best dressed driver from Fremantle
depot - he wowed everyone as a clown with his talking
doll.
Radio
Lollipop is a registered charity and self funded organization
for the benefit of children in hospitals. Lollipop
actually means "Lots
of Love and Laughter in Place of Pain". The
organization runs a Radio Station for children in hospital
out of Princess Margaret Hospital, as well as providing
daily entertainment and competitions for young patients
in three hospitals in Perth. They recognize that laughter
is one of the best medicines!
