BUS
OPERATOR VACANCIES
Southern
Coast Transit (SCT) is a provider of Transperth bus services
in the Perth CBD, Fremantle, Rockingham and Mandurah
regions, situated south of Perth, Western Australia.
Southern Coast Transit combines several decades of private
bus industry experience focussed on the provision of
passenger public service.
We
are currently recruiting for Bus Operators both Casual,
Part-Time and Full Time positions.
Duties:
- To
provide safe transport and accurate information to
SCT customers and the general public in accordance
with published schedules and SCT Policies and Procedures.
- To
collect and reconcile revenue in accordance with Transperth
Public Transport Fare structure and SCT Procedure.
- To
collect and handle lost property in accordance with
SCT Procedure.
- To
provide a professional and courteous service to all
our passengers.
Essential
Requirements :
- Current "C"
class licence held for a minimum of 4 continous years,
but "HR"
class licence with Hire and Reward Endorsement (Old "F"
Class License) would be a definite advantage.
- Current
Police Certificates:-
- Traffic
Convictions - National Police Certificate
- Criminal
Record - National Police Certificate.
- Demonstrate
high quality customer service skills.
- Effective
communication skills (written & verbal).
- Basic
numeracy skills.
- Must
pass a medical examination that meets requirements
of Medical Examination for Commercial Vehicle Drivers.
- Good
knowledge of the Southern Coast Transit contract area.
- Flexibility
in working shifts and excellent time keeper.
- Well
groomed and maintain a professional manner at all times.
